Diketone and UV based advanced oxidation/reduction technologies: molecular mechanisms and research advances

چکیده

The practical application of most the UV-based advanced oxidation/reduction technologies (AOTs) is still limited because poor selectivity reactive species in AOTs and inner filter effects caused by complicated components water. Recently, new photochemical techniques based on low molecular weight diketones have attracted much attention higher stronger anti-interference ability. This review summarizes current research progress diketone-mediated processes, with emphasis role enol tautomer electron/energy transfer. The characteristics UV/diketone its potential applications water pollution control are preliminarily discussed. Moreover, remaining questions UV/diketones analyzed, future directions proposed.
